Mid-Missouri combo The Upsides was born with a ukulele, three voices, and no shortage of optimism. Five bandmates with diverse musical talents and a "mission to make" deliver a palatable blend of Americana melodies and three-part harmonies reminiscent of the Andrews Sisters, anchored by ukulele, bass, and percussion. Mixing old American jazz and blues melodies with contemporary originals, their debut EP "Goin' Down This Road" is a fresh dose of nostalgia with modern flair.
